Great place to eat. Dining room was nice elegant with a very warm and inviting atmosphere. The cashier and front end staff were very cordial and friendly.

They are very nice! Everything is fresh and hot. They also look out for those that are in need.

Brought group from assisted living here today. Cashier was patient and sweet. Manager Bo went out of his way to make us and all other guests in restaurant feel welcome. Someone came around and offered everyone extra hush puppies. What a nice experience at buddy’s today!

Smoky Dawg is very good. Excellent value @ $2.69. Corn on cob a large portion, very hot, & good.

I usually like Buddy's, but I was disappointed with them today. My barbecue was room temperature and my corn on the cob tasted like it just came out of the fridge. I couldn't even spread the butter on it! Hopefully it will be better next time!!

I'd give them 0 stars if I coul . After waiting 3p minutes for our food we find out they lost our order... we knew something was up bc the girl taking our order didn't want to take our order to begin with. The shift manager offered nothing but a return of our money. We will never go there again. This was on 5/27/2020.

Food good but drive thu extremely slow

Fantastic beef or pork bbq, ribs, & chicken. Sides including bake beans, mack&chez, slaw, corn on cob, baked potatoes, fries, potatoe salad, awsome hushpuppys, & more! U can have your own meats smoked. Even dessert- hot fudge cake!! Good 4 family meals. Can have dinner plates or family packs. They cater 4 parties or large gatherings. Reasonably priced. 4 locations in Knox. Dine in or take out, or drive thru. Friendly service

Pretty good food for a modest price. Hush puppies came with dinner, and a manager brought us more that were fresh and hot. Mostly self service, didn't see the pickled jalapenos and fresh spicy pickles until later. Good iced tea. Friendly staff!

Good portions for the price. Good smoke flavor, not overwhelming. BBQ is tasty.

Clean, well lit and spacious establishment. Friendly staff. Manager thinks he's funnier than he really is. We got the combo dinner: chicken breast, 3 ribs and pork. Choice of two sides, highly recommend the green beans. The hush puppies are nothing special. Got a side of chili as well, it was good but I wanted something else for it. The hot fudge cake is really good. Could've gone for less fudge topping though.

Quick service.Cheap BBQ.Tasty.Had the pulled pork and chicken dinner platters. The sides were potato salad, beans, slaw, and green beans. All platters come with 4 hush puppies.Didn't expect much, but it was great!

Waited in drive thru Sunday for a least 30 min. Got up then they tell they don't have chicken for family pack .they need to put up a sign saying no chicken .I drove off have no plans going back

We went through the drive thru one evening passing through. The clerk at the drive thru was delightful. The food was awesome as well. Great place to stop and grab something to eat. I definitely recommend stopping by.

Great fresh hot food and great prices and location

I cannot believe when you order a Hogback potato which is an extra large baked potato that you get one sour cream and two Butters unless you want to pay extra. That is totally non customer service oriented!! Just quit serving potatoes if you can't give the butter and sour cream to go on them. 😳😞

Great food reasonable price

Food was really good, I got a hawg back pork potato and it was so hot it was steaming. They were following COVID guidelines. Store was clean Thanks 😊

Weather eating in or picking up curbside always an outstanding experience. Their website to order from is very easy to navigate leaving ample room for any special instructions. My grand Sons are severe celiac disease and they have never gotten cross-contaminated or gluten at all. From the staff to the management our Buddy's barbecue here is top-notch.

The folks are friendly enough. The food is so-so when you compare it to bbq from Texas or even North Carolina. The half chicken was moist but just not spiced very well. Potato salad good and has good mustard base. Beans okay as standard.

They no l9nger have pickle spears so sad

Menu wasn't that easy to order from but the food and service was good. I'd go back if I'm ever around that area of Knoxville again

Every Tuesday has a dinner special. The hushpuppies are a treat and all the other sides are tasty and served nice and hot. The BBQ chicken sandwich is one of the favorites other than the always good pulled pork BBQ.

Buddy's Bar-B-Q is an all time favorite of mine and my family. It's a Knoxville tradition because it's quality food is always consistent. The restaurants are always clean and the staff is always friendly. When my 12 year old son travels to Knoxville with me, Buddy's is always at the top of his favorite must do list.

GREAT BBQ PULLED CHICKEN. POTATO SALAD IS DELICIOUS BUT THEIR HUSHPUPPIES ARE THE BEST. PLUS, WE LOVE THE TUESDAY SPECIAL.

Had a pretty decent meal at Buddys. Unfortunately - the all you can eat ribs were dry. I was disappointed. The rest of the family enjoyed their food items. Kids got the Hogback Fries and Wife got the Quarter Chicken. I do not recommend getting the all you can eat ribs early in the day. I think we were there around 1145AM. I am thinking they used previous day inventory.
